Being a Bassendean resident, it was super exciting to be supported by the amazing Debbie and Michelle at The 5 Four Store.

They have really solidified the store as an institution in the area, renowned for being laid back and a cool space to grab a coffee and catch-up with friends.

Five reasons to love The 5 Four Store

1. The food: their food display cabinet delivers the goods. Their most popular option is their sandwiches and I’ve been told there Reuben is a must try. Being gluten free, I love that their meat and veg lasagnas are a solid option along with some of their salads.
2.  Coffee and other hot drinks: they are always solid. They also reward you for bringing in reusable cups and have the stamp cards too.
3. Clothing, giftwares and homewares: yes, another awesome spot you can find some practical and easy gifts and homewares, along with Krystlebot earrings and some beautiful clothing sourced by Beth that will become an instant favourite. They also stock plenty of food options like curry pastes, honey and chocolates to name a few. 
4. Supporting local: they have cemented themselves in the Bassendean community and walk the talk. You’ll regularly see local organisations holding meetings like the Bassendean Open Studios and so much more. Michelle regularly eats out at other local Bassendean businesses, showing how much the area has to offer. The community vibe is strong here.
   
5. The kids area: there is good reason that the kids area gets rave reviews and featured lots on family blogs, Instagram and Facebook. The set-up makes it easy to keep kids occupied while the parents can enjoy a hot drinks while catching up with other family friends.
